On May 10th the FDA Convenes
a Public Hearing on PrEP. This days before the FDA staff reported that Gilead's Truvada might help reduce HIV risk. The LA based AIDS Healthcare foundation is
petitioning the FDA to hold off, saying that Truvada is only partially effective in preventing HIV transmission.
Both PrEP and PEP bring up a lot of
